Marcos Ambrose was the last winner of the first NASCAR Sprint Cup, capturing the rain delayed race on Monday at Watkins Glen International.

Ambrose drove the No. 9 Ford past Brad Keselowski on the penultimate lap and held on from there to capture the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips in the glen.

Keselowski finished second, Kyle Busch third, fourth and Martin Truex Jr. Joey Logano fifth.

"It's a dream come true," said Richard Petty Motorsports driver Victory Lane, the timer first to fifth visit there this season - most in NASCAR since 2002.

Other winners for the first time this year: Trevor Bayne (Daytona 500), Regan Smith (Southern 500 at Darlington), David Ragan (Coke Zero 400 at Daytona) and Paul Menard (Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis).

Busch kept his lead on the final restart, but was adopted by Keselowski in Turn 1. Ambrose and Keselowski moved by the internal circuitry of the online test of 2.45 miles and earned him a little less than half a second.

Last reset caused by an accident of Paul Menard, Ambrose reduced after 2.5 seconds ahead of Busch by two car lengths.

A couple of final lap crash, which is mainly David Reutimann, Tony Stewart and Ragan, brought a yellow flag, finishing the race with Ambrose in the lead.

HIV As Cancer Remedy Found

Sunday, August 14, 2011

Initial tests have shown that the HIV virus can be afraid of being a cancer treatment that can reduce not only help them heal, but even the most common form of leukemia.

The Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, led by Dr. Carl June, experimented with using a version of the harmless virus HIV in combination with genetically modified cells of white blood as a new way to fight against cancer . The cells were taken from patients are modified with new genes that make them target cancer cells, and because they multiply when injected, they will act as a small army inside the body.

Preliminary results surprised the research team. Modification of the cell acted as a serial murderer, for example, and kill cancer cells in two patients who were reduced to 70% in the third quarter. No less than five books of the tumor cells are lost per patient. And as an added bonus, the modified cells, which remain in the body of the patient was seen to activate a new and kill cancer cells, up to 12 months after being injected.

This is a breakthrough in the treatment of leukemia compared to traditional methods, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy have side effects and complications. With a newly discovered process, a single modified cells are white blood cells of another job. And 'certainly good news for patients with leukemia that the disease has killed hundreds of thousands of adults and children each year.
